1) You need to be genuine, willing to help and to provide really useful information to its users, and especially your followers.
2) You need to abide by the TOS and general rules of acceptable social behavior or you will be banned.
3) You need to know how to grow the number of your followers. The more followers you have, the bigger is your listening audience and your exposure.
4) It’s very advisable to automate the response system, so that each of your followers receive some token of appreciation for following you.
